Safety 1st Secure Lock Bed Rail The Safety 1st Secure-Lock Bed Rail offers additional security by attaching to the top of the mattress instead of adjacent to the mattress like traditional style bed rails. A color-coded safety-position indicator lets parents know when the rail is properly positioned and locked. It also eliminates possible entrapment between bed and rail. The secure-lock bed rail meets new ASTM bed rail standards. Extends to 44″ and accommodates mattresses between 4″ and 10″ thick.
This bed rail cannot be used in place of a crib. Never use on a bunk bed, waterbed or inflatable mattress.

This is great. Totally secure, fairly easy to put on and off (although not quiet and you do have to put a bit of muscle into it). The best part is that it comes apart for travel. It takes about 10 minutes to take apart or put together and does require a screwdriver, but this is much better than …
